Job summary

Employbridge seeks an Intake Attorney to be the primary legal decision-maker in a high-volume intake operation. You will evaluate cases, make retain/decline decisions, and guide intake teams to efficiently onboard qualified matters.

You will shape case acquisition strategy, ensure compliance, and provide training to intake staff while handling sensitive matters with discretion. Requires JD, active U.S. bar license, and 2+ years in PI or mass tort intake.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active bar license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in personal injury, mass torts, or intake.
  • Strong ability to assess liability, damages, and statute limitations.

Responsibilities

  • Review and assess prospective matters, making retain/decline decisions.
  • Develop and refine qualification criteria, intake workflows, and screening guidelines.
  • Manage high-value, sensitive intakes with professionalism and discretion.
  • Deliver training to intake personnel on legal processes and ethics.
  • Oversee deadlines, documentation, and retention/transition decisions.

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
