Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Longwood, FL seeks an Intake Attorney to engage with prospective clients, assess potential cases, and guide clients during initial interactions. You will work closely with attorneys to onboard cases, document conversations, and exercise legal judgment in real-time decisions.

Requirements include a JD from an accredited law school, active bar membership, and 1+ years in a high-volume intake environment.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active member of a state Bar in good standing.
• 1+ years experience managing a high-volume caseload or intake pipeline.
• Familiarity with client intake and case management platforms preferred.
• Ability to perform effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Speak directly with prospective clients to explain the legal process and assist in decision-making.
• Establish credibility and trust quickly through legal knowledge and professionalism.
• Follow up on pending calls and unsigned retainers, ensuring timely communication.
• Coordinate with leadership and attorneys to ensure efficient case onboarding.
• Document all conversations and case assessments accurately in the intake system.
• Partner with the Under Review team to evaluate potential personal injury cases.
• Review police reports and other materials to inform case assessments.
• Exercise independent legal judgment for real-time case acceptance decisions.
