The New York City Housing Authority is seeking a Community Services Aide in the Resident Relocations Services Department to support relocation of NYCHA residents during major modernization or urgent repairs across the five boroughs.
The role works under the Community Coordinator to conduct intake surveys and moving assessments, assist with outreach, provide information, help with forms, and perform general office and field tasks to ensure smooth relocations and meaningful resident support.
The New York City Housing Authority is seeking a Community Services Aide for the Resident Relocations Services Department. This role is to support relocation of NYCHA residents at developments where planned major modernization or unplanned urgent repairs are required, including repairs to address health and safety issues. Under immediate supervision of the Community Coordinator, the Community Services Aide conducts the Intake Survey and Moving Assessments.
In addition, the Community Services Aide duties will also be responsible for the following:
Work Environment: This position requires both office work and field work, including visits to homes, hotels, etc., within the five boroughs of New York City.

Excellent communication skills, a strong sense of community, and a willingness to serve the public. Experience in community service or related fields is a plus.
