Wellstone Regional Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN is seeking a dynamic RN Intake Clinician for a full-time night shift (Mon–Thu, 8:30pm–7am). You will facilitate requests for services, coordinate with managed care, and assess patient and family clinical needs.

Wellstone Regional Hospital (UHS facility) is a 100-bed acute care facility located in Jeffersonville, Indiana and has been providing quality health care to the residents of Southern Indiana and the Louisville area since 2003. Wellstone specializes in the treatment of Adolescents, Children, and the Adult population. In addition to our in-patient services, we offer out-patient programs as well. Wellstone is currently seeking a dynamic and talented RN Intake Clinician, full-time, Monday thru Thursday, 8:30pm – 7am.

The Intake Clinician RN is responsible for the facilitation of requests for services, resource referral, assessment of patient/family clinical needs, and interfaces with managed care organizations, external reviewers, and other payors.
Education/Licensure: Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the state of Indiana.
Experience: Minimum of two years experience in a psychiatric/mental health/chemical dependency setting PREFERRED.
Additional Requirements: Experience in patient assessment, referral, treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities. Completion of CPR course and completion of CPI prior to working independently.
