Job summary

BJC Behavioral Health is seeking an Intake Specialist to conduct initial screenings for individuals seeking services and to triage care within the agency. The role includes completing psychosocial assessments, developing treatment plans, and referring clients to appropriate internal or external services.

You will also provide brief evidence-based therapies, engage clients and families, and navigate EMR systems to document findings and coordinate care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required with licensure in social work or professional counseling.
• 2-5 years of relevant intake or behavioral health experience.
• Ability to evaluate need and complete psychosocial assessments in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial evaluation of need and triage services for BJC BH.
• Complete psychosocial assessments and treatment plans meeting requirements.
• Navigate EMR and other computer systems.
• Engage families and individuals to set realistic treatment goals.
• Present findings in formal assessments with clear recommendations.
