The Meadows Psychiatric Center in Centre Hall, PA, is seeking two PRN Admission Clinicians to join the Admissions Department. Shifts include 7a-3p, 3p-11p, and 11p-7a, with pay commensurate with experience.

This role provides telephonic and in-person risk assessment, crisis intervention, and coordinates the intake process to determine the appropriate level of care. The Admissions Clinician collaborates with referral sources, families, patients and unit staff, supports face-to-face assessments,

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or Human Services required.
• Work experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephonic and in-person risk assessment and crisis intervention.
• Coordinate referral and intake process and determine level of care.
• Assist admission coordination and communicate with referral sources, families, and staff.
