Job summary

Orion180 Insurance Services LLC invites students to join our 2027 Summer Internship Program. Interns will work across departments including Accounting & Finance, Claims, Customer Experience, Data Science, Product, and Specialty Risk, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced insurtech environment.

Locations include Melbourne, FL (HQ) with additional opportunities in Irving, TX and Draper, UT. Interns will receive dedicated mentorship, professional development, and exposure to senior leaders

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
• Strong academic performance in relevant disciplines (Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, Data Science, CS, Business, Marketing).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with Python, SQL, Power BI is a plus for analytically focused roles.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Support the accounting & finance team with day-to-day operations, including AP/AR, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Assist claims professionals with intake, documentation and file management.
• Support the customer experience team with inquiry resolution and process documentation.
• Collaborate with Data Science to analyze datasets, build models, and generate insights.
• Assist product and specialty risk teams with market research and portfolio reviews.
