Job summary

The Mutual Group in Des Moines, IA offers the Insure Your Future rotational internship, delivering hands-on exposure to Customer Experience, Claims, Underwriting, and Finance. You will work with leaders and peers to understand the day-to-day operations of the insurance lifecycle in a fast-paced environment.

As an active freshman or sophomore, you will participate in four learning sessions, support daily operations, and gain real projects while building your professional network.

Qualifications

• Active college student in Freshman or Sophomore standing.
• Attending an eligible four-year college or university in Iowa.
• Passion and desire to learn.
• Onsite attendance to home office (1111 Ashworth Road, WDM).
• Attend / Complete 4 Learning Sessions with Insure Your Future Committee.
• Student seeking business majors including but not limited to: Accounting, Administration & Management, Economics, Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business, Marketing, Real Estate, Sales, Actuary Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Journalism/Communications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey clear, concise information to others.
• Driven by positive and professional attitude and strong work ethic.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Self-disciplined, proactive, and takes ownership and responsibility.
