Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years Medical Billing or pre-certification experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Detail oriented and organizational skills.
• Proficient in communicating in English with patients and insurance carriers.

Responsibilities

• Obtain benefit information for new and existing patients not verified within 90 days.
• Document information in Patient Registration and Insurance Eligibility box and in alert notes.
• Coordinate with Scheduling Coordinators and Patient Service Associates when verifications are needed.
• Provide customer service and professional communication to patients, co-workers, and carriers.
