LifeStance Health is seeking an Insurance Verification Coordinator for a full-time remote role across the United States. You will verify benefits, obtain authorizations, and ensure correct billing for therapies, medications, and telehealth services.
The candidate should have insurance experience, be capable of independent work within a national organization, and sit anywhere in the US where LifeStance operates. Competitive hourly compensation is offered.

The Insurance Verification Coordinator is charged with the verification and pre-authorization activities related to services provided by LifeStance Health and associated clinical practices.
The coordinator will work collaboratively with patients and office team members to ensure that all charges and benefits are appropriate for necessary treatment.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has a strong desire to work individually while meeting the needs of a national organization.
An important key requirement is the self-accountability to drive success in a virtual team environment.
This position is a remote role with the ability to sit within any US locality where LifeStance is represented.
$19.40 - 21.00/hour
High school diploma or GED equivalent required 1+ year of medical facility or medical office billing experience Professional experience and understanding of insurance products and coverage types Experience with automated billing systems preferred Experience with training in business office activities is preferred Ability to work both in a team environment and independently Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States Demonstrates awareness, inclusivity, sensitivity, humility, and experience in working with individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds, socioeconomic statuses, sexual orientations, gender identities, and other various aspects of culture
