This full-time role supports verification, eligibility, and authorization processes to ensure accurate patient financial information prior to procedures.

The position works with physician offices, patients, carriers, and internal teams to facilitate a smooth surgical experience while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in insurance verification or related revenue cycle functions.
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance plans, Medicare, Medicaid, and payer requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and payer portals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, deductibles, co-insurance, and coverage limits for scheduled procedures.
• Document patient demographics and insurance information in the practice management system.
• Determine authorization and referral requirements for procedures.
• Secure required authorizations by coordinating with physician offices and payers.
• Communicate with patients about coverage and financial responsibilities.
