Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager to join the Business Transformation & Growth practice. You will lead client engagements in life insurance, annuity, and group benefits, guiding large, cross-functional teams through complex transformation programs.

You will act as a trusted advisor to executives, shape delivery roadmaps, manage budgets and risks, and drive value for clients. The role emphasizes governance, Agile/SAFe practices, and innovative approaches to AI adoption and automation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 6-10+ years of relevant professional experience.
5+ years of experience within Life, Annuity, or Group Benefits insurance.
Demonstrated experience leading large-scale business and technology transformation programs.
Experience managing client relationships and leading cross-functional teams in complex delivery environments.
Experience with policy administration platforms including FAST, FINEOS AdminSuite, ALIP, OIPA, DXC wmA/CyberLife, EXL LifePro, or comparable PAS solutions.
Strong understanding of Life & Annuity value chain including product configuration, underwriting, policy administration, servicing, and claims.
Program management experience within onshore/offshore delivery models involving multiple vendors and stakeholders.
Experience overseeing platform configuration, integration, APIs, middleware, and data migration efforts.
Strong executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to influence senior business and technology leaders; strong analytical and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities

Lead large-scale platform transformation programs and ensure delivery aligns with objectives and contracts.
Serve as trusted advisor to client business and technology leaders, driving strategic outcomes.
Define delivery roadmaps, governance, and execution strategies across complex workstreams.
Oversee program scope, budget, risks, dependencies, resources, and delivery performance.
Lead governance forums and drive collaboration across client, EY, and vendor teams.
Ensure delivery excellence through Agile, SAFe, DevOps, quality engineering, release management, and readiness practices.
Promote AI-enabled solutions, automation, and data-driven insights for value creation.
Monitor program health, security, architecture standards, and delivery risks and opportunities.
Coach and mentor consulting teams; support performance management and career development.
Support business development, proposal management, and account growth activities.
