Job summary

EY is seeking a Manager to join EY's Business Transformation & Growth (BTG) practice. This individual will lead client engagements, manage multidisciplinary teams, and drive large-scale business and technology transformation programs for life insurance, group benefits, and retirement providers.

You will guide delivery roadmaps, oversee budgets and risks, and advance AI-driven insights and agile delivery while developing talent and supporting EY's evolving insurance consulting practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6–10+ years of relevant professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience within Life, Annuity, or Group Benefits insurance.
• Demonstrated experience leading large-scale business and technology transformation programs.
• Experience managing client relationships and cross-functional teams in complex delivery environments.
• Experience with policy administration platforms (FAST, FINEOS AdminSuite, ALIP, OIPA, DXC wmA/CyberLife, EXL LifePro) or comparable PAS.
• Strong understanding of the Life & Annuity value chain (product configuration, underwriting, policy administration, servicing, claims).
• Program management experience across onshore/offshore delivery models with multiple vendors.
• Experience overseeing platform configuration, integration, APIs, middleware, and data migration.
• Strong executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence senior business and technology leaders.
• Analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale platform transformation programs aligning with business objectives and architecture standards.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to client business and technology leaders, driving strategic outcomes.
• Define delivery roadmaps, governance models, and execution strategies across complex workstreams.
• Oversee program scope, budget, risks, dependencies, resources, and delivery performance.
• Lead governance forums and drive collaboration across client, EY, and vendor teams.
• Ensure delivery excellence with Agile, SAFe, DevOps, QA, release management, and operational readiness.
• Drive adoption of AI-enabled solutions, automation, and data-driven insights.
• Monitor program health, security, and architectural standards; address risks and opportunities.
• Lead, coach, and mentor consulting teams; support performance management and talent growth.
• Support account growth through client relationships, opportunity identification, and proposals.
• Contribute to solution shaping, estimations, and pursuit activities; advance insurance transformation capabilities.
