Job summary

Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking an associate with 2-6 years of experience to join the Insurance Practice Group across Foley's national platform in Chicago, Milwaukee, New York, or Tallahassee. The associate will handle a broad range of transactional and regulatory matters for insurers, reinsurers, and related participants.

The role involves drafting and negotiating transaction documents, coordinating multi-jurisdictional workstreams, and advising on regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Qualified candidates will have experience with corporate transactions involving insurance businesses and regulatory matters.
• Experience advising on regulatory approvals, licensing, governance, and due diligence in transactions is valued.
• Strong writing, analytical, drafting, and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate transaction documents.
• Analyze insurance regulatory requirements and coordinate multijurisdictional workstreams.
• Help clients navigate regulatory issues throughout a transaction.
