Job summary

Foley & Lardner LLP seeks an associate with 2–6 years of experience to join the Insurance Practice Group in Chicago, Milwaukee, New York, or Tallahassee. The associate will collaborate with Foley lawyers nationwide on a broad array of transactional and regulatory matters for insurers and related entities.

Qualified candidates will have experience in corporate transactions for insurance businesses and exposure to regulatory matters, including governance, licensing, and due diligence.

Qualifications

• JDs from ABA-accredited law schools.
• Strong written and oral communication skills required.
• Experience with insurance transactional work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate transaction documents.
• Analyze insurance regulatory requirements and compliance.
• Coordinate multi-jurisdictional workstreams and advise clients.
