Job summary

Hyundai Capital America seeks a Sr. Manager, Insurance Technology Platforms to lead delivery, modernization, and operations of insurance tech solutions across contract administration, claims, underwriting, and reporting.

You will shape roadmaps, guide a technical team, and partner with business stakeholders to ensure reliable, compliant, and scalable platforms while aligning with enterprise standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology delivery, business systems, data platforms, or related roles within a regulated industry.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams and delivery initiatives.
• Experience with SDLC activities including design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Experience with SQL/PL-SQL, database-driven applications, reporting, integrations, and data-focused solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
• Relevant certifications (PMP, Agile, ITIL, Oracle, or equivalent) are a plus.
• Strong understanding of insurance, financial services, or data-driven business platforms.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, databases, data flows, and operational support.
• Experience with Agile delivery, release management, and application support practices.
• Knowledge of compliance, risk management, data privacy, and regulatory requirements in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery, support, and modernization of insurance technology platforms and data solutions.
• Provide technical oversight for enhancements, integrations, reporting, performance, and production support.
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and compliance with enterprise standards.
• Define and manage platform roadmaps, priorities, and delivery plans with stakeholders.
• Balance enhancements, production support, risk, and operational needs to maximize business value.
• Coach and develop technical team members, fostering accountability and collaboration.
• Direct workload management, performance feedback, and professional development for staff.
• Serve as the primary technology partner for insurance business teams and translate business needs into technical solutions.
