Insurance Strategist - National Platform with Regional Roots & Elite Clients

Location: Based near our Southeast regional office (Relocation support available)

As an Insurance Strategist, you will lead high-value conversations, architect complex planning strategies, and drive insurance integration across our firm’s planning model.

Your Impact

  • Uncover and drive sophisticated insurance opportunities within our existing client base, strategic partnerships, and advisor networks
  • Design and implement advanced insurance strategies tied to estate planning, business succession, executive benefits, and tax-focused planning
  • Lead client-facing meetings in collaboration with advisory teams, with full access to in-house support, marketing, and national-level case design partners
  • Build advisor confidence by educating and equipping them to identify ideal client opportunities
  • Own the lifecycle of each case—from discovery through placement—ensuring technical precision and client satisfaction

What Success Looks Like

  • Year 1 Target Premium: $1M+ with growth expectations tied to advisor integration
  • High-Level Outcomes: Potential to scale to $2M–$3M+ in future years with increasing internal leverage
  • Collaboration: Earn trust as the go-to strategist within a high-performance, multi-disciplinary team
  • Execution: Deliver clean, complete solutions in partnership with operations and underwriting

Ideal Candidate Profile

Required:

  • 5+ years in advanced insurance planning, high-net-worth sales, or consultative case design
  • Strong technical background in estate, business, or tax-related insurance strategies
  • Proven experience managing complex cases ($500K+ premium) from idea to implementation
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organized with a track record of delivering complete, polished outcomes

Preferred:

  • Experience in a boutique RIA, family office, or financial planning firm
  • Proficiency with carrier illustration tools and design software
  • Understanding of premium finance or executive benefit structures

Compensation & Upside

  • Base Salary: $100,000–$150,000 (commensurate with experience)
  • Performance-Based Compensation: Tiered incentive structure for premium placed, client expansion, and advisor engagement
  • Access: Introductions to an existing high-quality client base, national strategic partners, and high-trust advisory teams
  • Support: Case design, underwriting, implementation, and marketing resources provided
  • Trajectory: This role has clear visibility and influence—perfect for someone ready to grow into a national leadership presence in insurance planning
