McKee Risk Management, Inc. An RPS Company is seeking a Staff Accountant to support financial operations across general accounting, AR, AP, and premium audit functions.

The role emphasizes accuracy, collaboration with underwriting and client teams, and adherence to internal controls. You will contribute to monthly premium reporting, bank reconciliations, and audit support while maintaining professional service standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of related experience; previous experience in the insurance industry required.
• Proficient knowledge of various business systems/applications (word processing, spreadsheets, database, C1, Silver, etc.) and related equipment.

Aufgaben

• Performs routine and non-routine clerical / accounting functions in accordance with procedures and guidelines.
• Supports accounting in general accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, premium audit, and related functions.
• Reconciles bank accounts, general ledger accounts, payments receipts, and other financial records; monitors cash balances and investigates discrepancies.
• Prepares, reviews, and remits monthly premium reports to insurance carriers.
• Assists with audits and OFAC screening to support compliant servicing of clients and brokers.
