Job description

Genesis10 is seeking an Insurance Specialist for a 3-month remote contract position with a leading client in Brooklyn, OH.

Compensation: $20.00 per hour, W2.

Job Duties:

1. Act in a timely, efficient, and responsible manner to protect the interests of investors regarding serviced mortgages, under the direction of the department manager.
2. Handle all insurance-related matters.
3. Operate within the parameters of investor guides, Pooling and Servicing Agreements, applicable law, and mortgage documents.
4. Monitor insurance compliance for commercial properties used as collateral for lenders and investors.
5. Perform insurance analysis, manage premium disbursements from escrow, conduct risk assessments, review appraisals, and communicate with servicers, investors, borrowers, insurance agents, and internal departments.

Requirements:

1. Possess an analytical mind capable of assessing complex risks and articulating findings clearly.
2. Self-manage a variety of tasks that may change daily.
3. Have experience in Loan Servicing, Commercial Insurance, or Real Estate.
