Qualifications

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Insurance Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep domain expertise in Life Insurance and Reinsurance, specifically in actuarial processes, data flows, and systems. This SME will play a critical role in enabling the successful delivery of a large-scale actuarial technology modernization initiative.

The SME will work closely with cross-functional IT teams, data engineers, solution architects, and client stakeholders to ensure business alignment, validate transformation requirements, and guide the development and orchestration of modern actuarial data systems and processes.

• Familiarity with actuarial systems and data flows (e.g., Prophet, AXIS, MG-ALFA, or equivalents)
• Experience working with Enterprise Data Platforms (EDPs) and modern data engineering tools (preferred: dbt, SQL, APIs)
• Understanding of insurance regulatory environments, financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS 17), and data governance practices
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
