Job Description
Responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of core functions of an insurance company and applicable concepts, with a primary focus on actuarial pricing and/or reserving.
- Ability to effectively communicate and influence using analyses at various levels, including senior leadership.

Education & Training
- Typically, a minimum of 9 years of related work experience and at least 5 years in a manager or leadership role.
- Domain knowledge of insurance and/or reinsurance is required, specifically in actuarial pricing and reserving practices.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in product ownership, business analysis, or data-centric roles, preferably within the insurance industry.
- Over 8 years of experience in master data management, data quality, data governance, and analytics, including at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in master data management platforms such as Informatica, and familiar with data governance tools.
- Experienced with data technologies including data warehouses, ETL/ELT processes, cloud-based analytics platforms (e.g., AWS, Databricks, Azure), and reporting tools like Power BI and Cognos.
- Familiar with AI-powered analytics and automation solutions.
Business Acumen
- Strong understanding of the insurance industry and business operations.
- Proven ability to design and implement data strategies that support and align with organizational objectives.
Communication
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Skilled at translating complex data concepts into clear, actionable insights for decision-making.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree (or equivalent) in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Data & Analytics, or a related field.
- Agile Product Owner certification is highly preferred
