Job summary

Mercy Springfield in Springfield, MO is seeking an Insurance Services Representative I. This hybrid, full-time role focuses on collections and resolution of outstanding insurance receivables, including unpaid, denied, and underpaid claims.

You will communicate clearly while handling high claim volumes in line with Mercy's service standards. Responsibilities include interacting with patients and providers, using EPIC Resolute Hospital Billing, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Education: HS Degree or Equivalent
• Preferred EPIC Resolute Hospital Billing or Ambulatory experience
• Preferred Revenue Cycle and/or Healthcare billing or insurance experience
• Computer and keyboarding skills
• Basic Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge; strong communication and customer service

Responsibilities

• Collect and resolve outstanding insurance receivables including unpaid, denied and underpaid claims.
• Communicate effectively while handling high claim volumes accurately and efficiently.
