Job summary

The Juris Agency in Bend, OR is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our insurance service team. You will handle walk-ins, calls, and administrative tasks with a focus on client support and timely responses.

Key duties include processing payments, managing records, and assisting agents with the sales process. A state P&C license is required within 45 days; licensing costs are covered. Mon-Fri schedule and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check.
• Willingness to obtain at least a state P&C license within 45 days.
• Comfortable talking to people on the phone and using a computer.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and a calculator.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Organized, punctual and able to follow rules.
• Patient, respectful and trustworthy; able to keep client information confidential.

Responsibilities

• First responder for incoming service tasks (walk-ins, calls, etc.).
• Process payments, schedule appointments, update customer accounts, handle change requests and filings.
• Make outbound calls to schedule sales appointments for agents.
• Assist producers/agents in the sales process and manage tasks.
• Maintain client records and respond to questions about claims, enrollment and rates.
• Research and resolve coverage questions; perform commercial service tasks.
• Maintain relationships and follow up with clients as needed.
• Assist with audits and renewals; manage office inventory and supplies.
