National General, part of The Allstate Corporation, is hiring a Direct Sales Agent Specialist to grow a local book of business through in-person and phone sales.

You will generate new business, cross-sell existing customers, and build relationships with dealerships and community partners while delivering tailored solutions and meeting performance standards.

Qualifications

• P&C licensing preferred or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company.
• 0–2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention.
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline, including local lead generation and referrals.
• Develop relationships within the community (e.g., dealerships, events, local partners) to support business growth.
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales.
• Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives.
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition.
• Deliver results aligned with performance standards, compliance requirements, and customer experience expectations.
