Qualifications

The Insurance Sales Representative is a full-time, on-site role at Mrzljak & Associates American Family Insurance based in St. Louis, MO. This role is responsible for engaging prospective and existing customers to understand their insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building connections, identifying opportunities, and helping customers protect the things that matter most.

Responsibilities include:

• Generating leads, conducting consultations, and closing sales for insurance lines.


• Quote and present insurance products, including auto, home, life, umbrella, and commercial insurance, as applicable.


• Develop relationships that lead to customer retention, referrals, additional business, and long-term loyalty.


• Conducting policy reviews, renewals, and cross-selling opportunities, while ensuring all activities comply with company guidelines and regulatory requirements.


• Providing responsive customer service, maintaining accurate records


• Participating in community and networking events, and collaborating with team members

Qualifications

• Existing Property & Casualty and/or Life insurance licenses are required


• Previous experience in insurance, sales, business development, customer service, or account management is preferable


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Detail-oriented approach with solid organizational, follow-up, and documentation skills


• Proficiency with basic office software and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.


• High school diploma or equivalent required

Compensation :

• $18.75 /hour + 10% commission on auto, home, and life sales


• Quarterly bonuses

Office Hours:

Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM (in-office)
