Job summary

A-MAX Insurance in Plano, TX is hiring for an IN-OFFICE Insurance Sales Agent. This role combines a base hourly pay with uncapped commissions, paid weekly, and a clear path for growth within a supportive team.

You will assist customers with policy needs, prospect for new business, and coordinate with underwriting. The position emphasizes a strong sales mindset, reliability, and the ability to learn our licensing and software systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Customer Service/Insurance Sales Experience preferred but not required
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required
• Hold a valid and current Limited Lines or Property & Casualty License in Texas (highly preferred, but not required)
• Must have reliable transportation for daily marketing
• Basic Computer knowledge and possess strong written, verbal, and people skills
• Able to work independently with minimal/no supervision and quickly learn any Company/Proprietary software
• Complete continuing education courses (Paid for by A-MAX) as required to maintain active license status with TDI

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with new policies, edits, payments, renewals, and questions
• Inspect vehicles to assess risk for coverage
• Generate leads and develop clientele via networking
• Handle renewals and coordinate with underwriting
• Support daily office duties
