A-MAX Insurance is growing and seeking a motivated Insurance Sales Agent for an in-office role in Texas. You will combine a strong sales mindset with customer service to help clients choose policies, process renewals, and take payments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer Service/Insurance Sales experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
• Hold a valid Limited Lines or Property & Casualty License in Texas (highly preferred, but not required).
• Reliable transportation for daily marketing activities.
• Basic computer knowledge and strong written, verbal, and people skills.
• Complete continuing education to maintain active license status with TDI.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with insurance needs: new policies, edits, renewals and payments.
• Inspect vehicles to assess risk and determine acceptable insurance risk.
• Seek out new clients and develop clientele by networking and marketing.
• Work with the office manager on marketing strategies to attract customers.
• Handle policy renewals and coordinate with underwriting for policy completion.
• Perform administrative tasks and maintain daily office routines.
