Alfa Insurance - Ashley West Agency is seeking a Sales Representative to support agents in writing and servicing existing customers and to drive new business growth. The role emphasizes strong customer service, efficient clerical tasks, and collaboration with the agent and service center teams.

New hires may be independent contractor affiliated through the agent; Alfa Insurance provides training and ongoing support to help you succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to attain Insurance Producer license within 90 days of hire.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and have an aptitude for learning new programs and procedures.
• Team player with a positive, professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new business in multi-line insurance, quote and bind policies, handle customer inquiries, document requests and process changes, accept and process premiums.
• Provide strong customer service with clear communication across multiple platforms; adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Support the agent and service center staff as needed.
• Make decisions to determine applicant insurability and placement using binding and processing applications.
• Ensure effective operation of the service center including reports, documentation, and mail distribution.
