Job summary

AAA Auto Club Enterprises in Honolulu is seeking a results-driven sales professional to qualify prospects, quote memberships, and sell personal lines insurance products. You will collect premiums, bind coverage, and enter policy data while expanding cross-selling opportunities.

Required are a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years sales experience, and licensing eligibility for Personal Lines and Life Insurance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required; college degree preferred.
• 1–3 years sales experience preferred.
• Moderate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Advanced written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to qualify for Personal Lines License and Life Insurance License.
• Competitive sales drive to meet monthly goals.
• Background, credit check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Qualify and quote prospects, selling memberships and personal lines insurance products.
• Collecting premiums, binding coverage, entering policy data into insurance systems, and responding to underwriting inquiries.
• Developing a complete and thorough working knowledge of all insurance policy provisions, rating factors, rules, and insurance systems.
• Following up with members and insureds and prospecting for new business.
• Inspecting related documentation and resolving membership and insurance problems using discretion and independent judgment.
• Multi-tasking and identifying cross-selling opportunities.
• Working occasional Saturdays.
