Job summary

A-MAX Insurance is hiring an Insurance Sales Agent for an in-office role in Dallas, TX. You will assist customers with policy selections, take payments, renewals, and new policies while building a strong local client base.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
• Hold a valid and current Limited Lines or Property & Casualty License in Texas (highly preferred, but not required).
• Must have reliable transportation for daily marketing.
• Strong written, verbal, and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with various types of insurance needs such as new policies, editing existing policies, taking payments, renewing and reinstating policies, and answering questions.
• Inspect vehicles and assess risk to determine insurability.
• Develop clientele by networking and marketing; work with office manager on marketing strategies.
• Perform administrative tasks, renewals, and liaise with underwriting to complete policies.
• Participate in daily housekeeping and office duties.
