Freeway Insurance seeks an Insurance Agent in Elkhart, IN to sell nonstandard auto insurance. You will handle inbound leads and walk-in traffic, solicit new business and grow existing accounts while meeting production goals.

The role offers a sign-on bonus up to $1,000, comprehensive benefits, and a clear path for advancement. Prior licenses are nice but not required; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Personal Lines or Property and Casualty license preferred (but not required).
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.
• Sales or customer service experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to build relationships with sales customers.
• Excellent follow-up and multi-tasking skills.
• Ambitious professional motivated by advancement.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Solicit new business and maintain current levels to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Expand business by proactively building relationships with existing customers.
• Accurate accounting of currency transactions and timely deposits with documentation.
• Connects quickly; educate and advise customers on products that fit their needs.
