Job summary

A-MAX Insurance in Texas is hiring for an Insurance Sales Agent in-office. You will assist customers with new policies, edit existing ones, take payments, renewals, and reinstatements while delivering outstanding service.

We provide intensive training, licensing support, and ongoing coaching; bilingual ability is a plus. The role requires a High School diploma or GED and a valid Texas license, with transportation to daily client outreach in the area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Customer Service/Sales experience preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
• Hold a valid and current Texas license (Limited Lines or Property & Casualty) preferred but not required.
• Must have reliable transportation for daily marketing.
• Basic computer knowledge and possess strong written, verbal, and people skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and quickly learn company software.
• Continuing education courses (Paid for by A-MAX) as required to maintain active license status with TX dept.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with insurance needs such as new policies, editing existing policies, taking payments, renewing and reinstating policies.
• Inspect vehicles to decide if they are acceptable insurance risks.
• Generate lists of prospective clients and develop clientele by networking and marketing.
• Perform administrative tasks and handle policy renewals; liaise with underwriting to complete policies.
• Assist with daily housekeeping routines.
