Job summary

Freeway Insurance is seeking an Insurance Sales Agent to work on-site in Tifton, GA. You will sell nonstandard auto insurance to new and existing customers, aiming to meet and exceed sales targets while building lasting client relationships.

We offer training, uncapped commissions, performance bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with match, PTO, and annual incentive trips.

Qualifications

• Experience in selling nonstandard auto insurance is preferred.
• Licensing in insurance may be required or preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Sell nonstandard auto insurance to new and existing customers.
• Solicit new business and maintain current levels to meet production goals.
• Build relationships with existing customers to grow revenue.
• Accurately process currency transactions and deposits with documentation in the agency system.
• Educate and advise customers on products that fit their needs.

The pay range for a Sales Agent is $12.50-$16.00 + / hourly

Our Compensation package includes a competitive base salary + monthly uncapped commissions + renewal commissions + monthly bonus incentives

What You Will Do:

• As an Insurance Agent, you will be responsible primarily for the sale of nonstandard auto insurance to new and existing customers.
• Solicit new business and maintain current business levels in order to achieve or exceed sales production goals.
• Expand business by proactively building relationships with existing customers to meet the agreed upon production goals.
• Accurate accounting of all currency transactions as well as timely delivery of deposits to the bank with scanned documentation in agency management system.
• Connects very quickly; builds and leverages client relationships. Ability to educate and advise the customer on which products best fit their needs

The Perfect Match:

• Personal Lines or Property and Casualty license preferred (but not required)
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
• Sales or customer service experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to build relationships with sales customers
• Excellent follow-up and multi-tasking skills
• Ambitious professional motivated by opportunity for advancement
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
