A-MAX Insurance Services Inc is seeking an in-office Insurance Sales Agent in Texas. You will help customers with new policies, edits, renewals, and payments while actively marketing to grow the client base. A sales mindset and customer focus are essential.

We offer training, licensing assistance, benefits, and an uncapped commission structure paid weekly. This is a full-time in-office position with growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Customer service or insurance sales experience preferred but not required
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required
• Hold a valid and current Texas insurance license (Limited Lines or Property & Casualty) preferred but not required
• Reliable transportation required
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn company software
• Completion of continuing education courses to maintain license status with TDI as required

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with insurance needs, including new policies, edits, payments, renewals, and reinstatements
• Inspect vehicles and assess risk factors for policy suitability
• Generate lists of prospective clients and develop clientele through networking and marketing
• Perform administrative tasks and process policy renewals; coordinate with underwriting
• Support daily office operations and collaborate with the office manager on marketing strategies

This is an IN-OFFICE position.Job Responsibilities:Assist customers with various types of insurance needs such as new policies, editing existing policies, taking payments, renewing and reinstating policies, and answering all questions.Inspect vehicles, examining general condition, age, and other characteristics, to decide if it is an acceptable insurance risk.Seek out new clients, generate lists of prospective clients, and develop clientele by networking and marketing. You and your office manager will develop marketing strategies to attract new customers.Perform administrative tasks, as well as handling policy renewals and contacting underwriting to complete policies.Assist with daily housekeeping routinesPosition Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED requiredCustomer Service/Insurance Sales Experience preferred but not required.Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.Hold a valid and current Limited Lines or Property & Casualty License in Texas (highly preferred, but not required)Must have reliable transportation for daily marketingBasic Computer knowledge and possess strong written, verbal, and people skills.Able to work independently with minimal/no supervision and quickly learn any Company/Proprietary software.Complete continuing education courses (Paid for by A-MAX) as required to maintain active license status with TDI.At A-MAX Insurance, we believe in people.
