Job summary

Joseph Unruh American Family Insurance in Greeley, Colorado is seeking a full-time Sales Representative to join our team. You will work with the sales group to identify opportunities, develop strategies, and promote products and services to new customers.

Ideal candidates are eager to learn, coachable, upbeat, and enthusiastic, with strong time management and relationship-building skills to grow client loyalty and drive sales results.

Responsibilities

• Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
• Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
• Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.
• Process customer policy change requests.
• Secure all Trailing Documents from customers.
• Immediately greet all customers, entering the office, in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program.
• Treat each customer contact as a cross and up-sell opportunity including financial products.
• Verify phone numbers, addresses and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information.
• Return all phone messages promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of new products and services.
• Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.
• Generating insurance quotes.
• Be outstanding at relationship building.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
• Cold call, direct email and perform other lead generation activities.
• Obtain prospects information such as name, address, vehicle information and enter into quote sheets.
• Schedule appointments for sales staff to meet prospective customers.
• Foster strong relationships with our customers to maintain a high level of client retention and product loyalty.
• Prospects for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
