Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program; majors in insurance, finance, business administration or sales preferred
• Candidates should be entering their junior or senior year of college
• Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher
• Be a self-starter with analytical/problem-solving skills
• Loves teamwork and cultivating relationships; excels in verbal and written communication
• Has work experience demonstrating strong technical and/or client service skills
• Passionate about solving problems and sharing solutions to exceed standards
• Excellent Microsoft Office Excel skills; proficient in other Microsoft Office programs

Responsibilities

• Gain best-practices for business operations in the insurance industry
• Participate in department meetings and work with Plexus teams on client needs and projects
• Collaborate on solving problems using an analytic approach
• Utilize technology to generate internal resources and external deliverables
• Complete an insurance-based curriculum to learn foundations of the industry
• Observe client meetings and sales activities
• Understand and experience the full sales cycle
• Develop written and verbal presentation skills
• Be an active associate of The Plexus Groupe and participate in events and philanthropy initiatives
