Job summary

The Plexus Groupe offers a hands-on summer internship in which you’ll rotate through several insurance lines, sales, and more. You will gain exposure to employee benefits, benefit administration technology, business insurance, personal insurance, retirement services, and sales.

The internship runs June 1st through July 30th, 2027, with opportunities to work on cross-functional projects and collaborate with Plexus teams to support clients and learn the industry.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program; majors in insurance, finance, business administration or sales are preferred.
• Candidates should be entering their junior or senior year of college.
• Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher; be a self-starter with analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; experience with Microsoft Office Excel and other Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Gain best-practices for business operations in the insurance industry.
• Participate in department meetings and collaborate on client needs and projects.
• Contribute to problem solving using an analytic approach.
• Utilize technology to create internal resources and external deliverables.
• Complete an insurance-based curriculum to learn the foundations of insurance forms.
• Observe client meetings and sales activities; understand full sales cycle.
