Paquin is hiring for a renewal-focused insurance services role in a fast-paced environment. You will work with an Account Executive to gather information, assess risk, and prepare renewals and binders to ensure timely coverage for designated accounts.

The role requires handling renewals, changes, and new policies, with emphasis on accuracy, customer service, and timely processing. Knowledge of AMS and MS Word/Excel is essential for day-to-day tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be an assertive self-starter with the ability to influence others.
• Effective presentation skills through verbal and written communications.
• Must have insurance license as required by the State Department of Insurance.
• Ability to use a PC, calculator, AMS, and proficiency in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintains timeliness and accuracy when interacting with customers and personnel to minimize errors.
• Gathers information for renewals and prepares binders for designated accounts.
• Reviews renewals for standard vs non-standard policies; prepares rewrite applications.
• Processes quotes, changes, and new policies within 24 hours; collects premium where applicable.
• Solicits additional lines of insurance and referrals prior to renewal.
• Handles terminations and cancellations; takes action within 72 hours.
