Duties

Represent insurers in complex litigation involving:

Professional liability

General liability

Directors and Officers (D&O) insurance

Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, and supporting legal memoranda

Conduct and manage all facets of discovery and discovery-related motion practice

Take and defend depositions

Appear in court for hearings, arguments, and procedural matters

Independently manage case assignments and litigation timelines

Support client development efforts and maintain client relationships

Requirements

4 to 7 years of experience in insurance coverage and civil/commercial litigation

Proven experience with drafting motions, conducting discovery, and making court appearances

Ability to interpret complex policy language and coverage issues

Demonstrated initiative in client service, team collaboration, and legal strategy

Excellent academic credentials and writing skills

Education

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
