Job summary

The CNA Insurance Corporate Office in Chicago seeks an experienced Paralegal with insurance industry knowledge to support regulatory filings, conduct legal research, and handle general corporate matters.

Key duties include preparing documents for regulatory agencies, board materials, and related certifications; delivering accurate analyses; and coordinating with internal clients to meet deadlines in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited paralegal program or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Typically, a minimum of five years paralegal experience with insurance industry exposure.
• Familiarity with UCAA application processes is a plus.
• Strong research, writing and communication abilities in a corporate/commercial setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepares documents to be filed with regulatory agencies including Departments of Insurance and Secretaries of State.
• Prepares board of director related materials, certifications and related documents.
• Performs legal research using automated services to resolve questions and provides analysis.
• Assists with general corporate matters and other duties as assigned.
