Responsibilities

• Obtain and verify patient demographics and insurance information.
• Schedule referrals internally and externally; verify referral accuracy.
• Obtain precertification through private insurance when applicable.
• Notify patients about copayments for outside services.
• Verify enrollment and insurance benefits for patients.
• Answer phones and route messages promptly to the appropriate person.
• Schedule appointments with accuracy and update EMR entries.
• Assist with reporting and coordinate appointments for outside referrals.
• Other duties as assigned.
