Job summary

Verisk Maplecroft is seeking an Insurance Product Development Analyst to contribute to the technical development of general liability, commercial liability umbrella, and medical professional liability programs. The role emphasizes customer satisfaction, product quality, relevance and timeliness.

You will review laws, develop policy language, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to bring product revisions to market in a hybrid work environment from Jersey City, NJ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent insurance experience with a minimum of two years P&C experience involving analyzing and development of forms, rules, and/or rating preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organization, research and analytic skills.
• Ability to both work independently and in a team environment.
• Knowledge of ISO commercial general liability procedures is a plus.
• CPCU exam study or completion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review state and national laws, insurance department bulletins and regulations for impact on ISO products and insurer procedures.
• Provide timely, thoughtful responses to insurer inquiries on insurance topics.
• Develop policy language and manual rules for enhancements and guidance for issuing and rating policies.
• Develop and present items to insurer panels on emerging trends.
• Identify revisions and solutions to bring product revisions to market through collaboration.
• Collaborate with Verisk stakeholders across departments to incorporate perspectives and partnerships.
