Your Role :

As an Insurance Product Analyst IV, you will be a strategic leader, communicating results to the broader organization and distribution partners. Success requires strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, relationship building, and business acumen. Your daily activities will involve strategizing and leveraging data to promote action, with leadership support to innovate and approach opportunities creatively in this high-visibility role.

  • Understand and communicate the performance and strategy of personal lines auto and property products in your markets.
  • Deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders, tailoring content as needed.
  • Prepare materials and shape agendas for executive meetings to facilitate key business decisions.
  • Assess market risks and opportunities, evaluate solutions, and use data insights to influence leadership decisions.
  • Partner with divisions such as Marketing, Actuarial, Finance, and others to support organizational goals.
  • Lead and mentor the analyst community, guiding team budgeting, planning, and analysis efforts.
  • Forecast and communicate progress towards budgets and influence strategies to meet targets and serve members.
  • Conduct complex analyses to develop actionable recommendations for growth and profitability.
  • Utilize tools like SQL, Excel, Essbase, Snowflake, PowerBI, Python, etc., to analyze large datasets.
  • Some travel may be required for relationship-building with internal and external partners.
Required Experience, Education, and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of analytical experience; cross-functional experience preferred.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAS, SQL, Visual Basic, and analytical techniques, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to inspire action through data.
  • Excellent analytic, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to present to diverse audiences, including senior executives.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Initiative-driven, capable of leading projects with minimal guidance.
  • Strong business acumen, with knowledge of P&C insurance products, pricing, underwriting, and product management.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions and with external partners.
  • Advanced skills in research, statistics, data visualization, and mathematical analysis.
  • Experience in budget forecasting and change/project management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 0-2 years leadership and mentoring experience.
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA), CPCU, or Actuarial designations preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, inclusive approach.
  • Ability to translate enterprise strategy into team actions.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
