Your Role:

As an Insurance Product Analyst IV, you will be a strategic leader and voice of results within the organization and with distribution partners. Success requires strong analytical, strategic, relationship-building, and business acumen skills. Your daily tasks will involve strategizing and utilizing data to drive action, with support from leadership to innovate and approach opportunities creatively.

  1. Understand and communicate the performance and strategy of personal lines auto and property products in your assigned markets.
  2. Deliver effective presentations to various internal and external stakeholders, tailoring content as needed.
  3. Prepare materials and shape agendas for executive meetings to facilitate key business decisions.
  4. Assess market risks and opportunities, evaluate solutions, and use data insights to influence executive decisions.
  5. Partner cross-functionally with divisions like Marketing, Actuarial, and Finance to support organizational goals.
  6. Lead the analyst community by providing guidance, mentorship, and strategic analysis.
  7. Forecast and communicate progress towards budgets, influencing strategies to achieve targets and serve members.
  8. Lead complex analyses to develop actionable recommendations for growth and profitability.
  9. Utilize tools such as SQL, Excel, Essbase, Snowflake, PowerBI, and Python for data analysis.
  10. Travel as needed for relationship building with internal and external partners.
Required Experience, Education, and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science, or related field.
  • 8+ years of analytical experience in the industry; experience in multiple functions preferred.
  • Proven leadership and mentoring skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAS, SQL, Visual Basic, and analysis techniques, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Data-driven mindset to inspire action.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, capable of delivering presentations to diverse audiences including senior executives.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Initiative-driven with a track record of project completion with minimal guidance.
  • Strong business acumen with knowledge of P&C insurance products, pricing, underwriting, and product management.
  • Ability to foster collaboration across functions and external partners.
  • Advanced skills in research, statistics, data visualization, and mathematical analysis.
  • Leadership ability to structure and conduct analyses for solution development.
  • Understanding of laws and regulations relevant to the industry.
  • Experience in budget forecasting and change management.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 0–2 years of leadership and mentoring experience.
  • MBA, CPCU, or Actuarial designations (ACAS, FCAS) preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and respect for diversity.
  • Ability to build an inclusive, collaborative, and safe work environment.
  • Active participation in company culture and initiatives.
  • Ability to translate enterprise strategy to team members.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
