You will maintain relationships with carriers, stay current on coverages and underwriting, and collaborate with leadership to optimize opportunities.

The role requires a valid insurance license, a self-starter mindset, and the ability to manage time in a fast-paced environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1 year of sales experience with personal lines of insurance (home and auto).
• Sales license required.
• Self-starter with excellent time management, adaptability, organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and interact professionally at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a new business production minimum as outlined in the employee contract.
• Build a referral database and cultivate a sphere of influence for sales leads.
• Maintain knowledge of market conditions, coverages, underwriting, and product knowledge.
• Offer recommendations to management as needed.
• Maintain positive relationships with insurance carriers to achieve or retain favorable status.
