Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, MIS, or related field is required
• Minimum 5+ years of related work experience in a consulting practice or cross-industry role
• Experience serving insurance organizations preferred
• Certification preferred: CPA, CISA, CISSP, CIA or CISM
• SOX compliance and internal audit experience preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills

Responsibilities

• Review operational, financial, and technology processes to assess business risk and internal controls
• Lead reviews across the insurance operating model including underwriting, policy administration, distribution, billing, claims, and regulatory reporting
• Manage SOX and internal control over financial reporting programs for clients
• Oversee internal audit outsourcing/co-sourcing engagements
• Develop client risk assessments and recommendations for process optimization and compliance
• Utilize analytics and automation to deliver efficient client services
• Mentor staff and participate in business development activities
• Travel as needed
