About The Role

We seek passionate individuals interested in insurance, who enjoy solving complex problems and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. This role intersects operations, billing & insurance, and engineering to address billing challenges and translate insights into product improvements.

What you'll do:

• Triage denials and investigate billing issues to improve outcomes for clinics and patients
• Collaborate with operations, billing, engineering, and data teams to inform product development
• Analyze and communicate opportunities to enhance insurance billing processes
• Develop knowledge of complex insurance logic across payors

What we're looking for:

• Bias for action — eager to tackle ambiguous problems and find solutions
• Analytical skills — comfortable using data to investigate and decide
• Growth mindset — excited to learn new skills and technologies to solve data challenges

Nice to have:

• Experience with analytical tools like Excel, Looker, Metabase, etc.
• Experience with health insurance data and operations
• Start-up experience, especially at smaller companies

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year
