AJ Chambers is seeking an Insurance Litigation Associate in New Jersey with 3+ years of litigation experience to join its established insurance practice. The role offers exposure to insurance coverage matters, disputes, and litigation while working with senior attorneys on substantive matters.

Ideal candidates will have strong research, writing and advocacy skills, with NJ Bar admission required. Base salary starts at $154,000, with discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• 3+ years of litigation experience in civil, commercial or insurance litigation
• Strong legal research, writing and analytical skills
• Strong drafting and advocacy abilities
• Ability to manage litigation matters independently
• Excellent communication with clients, opposing counsel and staff
• New Jersey Bar admission required

Responsabilidades

• Handle substantive insurance litigation and coverage matters
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Analyse insurance policies and coverage issues
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs and other legal documents
• Assist with discovery and case preparation
• Develop litigation strategy with senior attorneys
• Participate in hearings, depositions and other litigation proceedings
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel and other parties
• Manage assigned matters and deadlines
• Work independently while collaborating with partners and other attorneys
• Develop specialist knowledge of insurance coverage and insurance disputes
