Job summary

Arch Capital Group Ltd. offers an internship program in which students gain hands-on experience in the insurance industry.

Interns will assist the Corporate Legal Team on contracts, NDAs, SOWs, AI and data privacy, while supporting risk, governance and compliance discussions across segments. The role is hybrid (2 days onsite, 3 days from home) and located in Raleigh, NC or New York City areas, with potential Jersey City consideration for the right candidate.

Qualifications

Actively completing a legal degree at an accredited law school.
Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher.
Current 1L and 2L students with graduation dates between Dec 2027 and May 2029.
Proficiency in productivity tools (Excel, CoPilot, PowerPoint, Word, Google products).
Interest in insurance industry, corporate law, AI, contracts, business law, legal research and writing.

Responsibilities

Assist the legal team with contract reviews (IT transactions, NDAs, SOWs, AI, Data Privacy & Security).
Support risk, compliance, and governance discussions with business segments and stakeholders.
Contribute as a team member on departmental projects and programs.
Perform tasks including legal review, document review and administrative support.
