Job summary

Del Mar College Testing Center is seeking qualified instructors to join a continuous recruitment pool for Insurance Instructor opportunities. This part-time, hourly role supports Continuing Education across multiple locations and needs instructors ready to respond to institutional needs.

Responsibilities include delivering course instruction, maintaining attendance, grading, and providing a clear syllabus. Minimum five years of related work experience and knowledge of Texas insurance policies

Qualifications

• Five (5) years related work experience.
• Knowledge of Texas Department of Insurance policies and procedures.
• Active Texas Department of Insurance License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate skill, knowledge, and abilities in their teaching discipline.
• Teach assigned courses in a variety of times and locations to respond to institutional need.
• Maintain daily attendance rosters and provide clear course syllabi following guidelines.
• Evaluate student progress and manage grade reporting per college policies.
